Militants escape after brief contact with armed forces at SKIMS Bemina, says Police
Srinagar: Militants and armed forces briefly exchanged fire at SKIMS Bemina in Srinagar on Friday, officials said.
In a tweet, a police spokesman said: “There was a brief firefight between terrorists and security forces at SKIMS hospital Bemina. Terrorists managed to escape taking advantage of civilian presence.”

A police official said that a search operation was underway in the area.
