One militant killed in military operation in Pulwama, says Police

Pulwama: A militant has been killed in a military operation that broke out between militants and armed forces personnel in Batpora Naina village of Litter hamlet in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday, officials have said.

Quoting officials, news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reported that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF earlier launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

As per sources, two to three militants were believed to be hiding in the area.
