Baramulla military Op: Three armed forces personnel injured
Baramulla: Three armed forces personnel were injured in an ongoing military operation against militants in Malwah area of Baramulla district on Thursday.
Police officials said that the search operation turned into a military operation shortly after the militants started firing towards the positions of the search party of armed forces, which was retaliated.
Inspector General of Police, Vijay Kumar in a tweet said: “Exact location of encounter is Malwah area.”
“In the initial exchange of fire, 03 soldiers recieved minor injuries. Operation in progress. Further details shall follow.”
