Three militants, cop killed in ongoing Baramulla military Op: IGP

Baramulla: Three Pakistani militants and a cop were killed in a fierce military operation that started this morning against militants in Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday, police said.

Quoting Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar, the Kashmir Police Zone wrote, “Three Pakistani militants killed. One JKP personnel also attained martyrdom in this chance encounter. Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition recovered. Further details shall follow.”

The operation started after a joint team of armed forces launched a cordon ad search operation at Najibhat crossing in Kreeri area of Baramulla, police said.
