Military operation against militants starts in south Kashmir, says police
Pulwama: A military operation against militants has started in Gundipora village in Pingelan area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said on Sunday.
Police officials said that a joint team of police, Army and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of militants launched a search operation in the area.
He said that as the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them triggering the operation.
