Amarnath yatra: IGP Kashmir holds final review meeting in Anantnag

Anantnag: Inspector general of police Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar on Monday held a final review meeting related to Amarnath yatra in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

An official said that the meeting was attended by top officials from the police, army, CRPF, ITBP and BSF.

He said that GOC Victor Force, IG CRPF, DIGs of BSF, ITBP, CRPF and JKP besides all district SSPs and COs of south Kashmir attended the meeting.

The official added that real threats and countermeasures being taken by police and army personnel were reviewed.

Notably, the Amarnath yatra is going to commence on June 30 this year amid unprecedented measures in Jammu and Kashmir.
