Military operation against militants starts in Kulgam, says police

Kulgam; A military operation against militants has started in Hadigam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, officials said on Wednesday.

Police officials said that a joint of team of police, Army and CRPF after receiving information about the presence of militants launched search operation in Hadigam area.

Officials also confirmed the exchange of gunfire between militants and armed forces.
