Military operation against militants starts in south Kashmir, says police
Kulgam: A military operation against militants started in Rampora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday, police said.
As per officials, a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Rampora.
As the joint team of armed forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them triggering the operation.
A senior police officer also confirmed the exchange of firing between militants and armed forces.
