Srinagar: Following the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit in Shopian district of south Kashmir on Tuesday afternoon, Kashmir Pandits Sangharsh Samiti (KPSS), an organization that represents the non-migrant Kashmiri Pandits living in Kashmir, asked the Kashmiri Pandits to “leave Kashmir or get killed here”.

Blaming the government of India and JK administration for ‘failing’ to provide security to KPs, the Committee also alleged that “Kashmiri Over Ground Workers work with militants to kill neighbours”.

The Committee President Sanjay Tickoo said the judiciary and the government have failed miserably to protect Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir, as such KPSS is appealing to all the Kashmiri Pandits to leave Kashmir and don’t fall for the sugar-coated statements from Kashmiri society.

“Irony is local OGWs work with them to kill their neighbours. Kashmir is a place where tourists are safe as no attacks were executed during Amar Nath Yatra but Local Non-Muslims particularly Kashmiri Pandits are vulnerable,” Tickoo said as per the statement accessed by Free Press Kashmir.

“Judiciary and Government have failed miserably to protect Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir Valley as such KPSS is appealing all the Kashmiri Pandits to leave Kashmir and don’t fall trap to sugar-coated statements from Kashmiri Society. No Kashmiri Pandit is Safe in Kashmir Valley,” he added.
