Man held with fake pistol in Srinagar: Police

Srinagar: Police on Thursday said that they have arrested one extortionist along with a fake pistol in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

Srinagar police on its official Twitter handle wrote, “extortionist namely Umer Qadir Dar S/o late Gh Qadir Dar R/o Harnambal Zaffar colony Natipora, he was using a fake pistol for intimidation. 02 mobile phones and 01 laptop were also recovered from his possession. On this, a case under FIR No 66/2022 registered at Kothibagh Police station”.
