New Delhi: A Special CBI court will hear the case of incarcerated Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik on Wednesday in connection with the killing of four Indian Air Force officers.

The four IAF members including Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna were killed in Srinagar’s Rawalpora on 25 January 1990. Malik’s case will be heard today by special CBI court, Republic reported.

A charge sheet was filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) before the TADA court in Jammu on August 31, 1990, in connection with the case.

Pertinently, Malik, sentenced by a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Delhi this year, is serving two life sentences and varying jail terms, all running concurrently, under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
