A video has surfaced showing the Hindu right-wing group Bajrang Dal giving ‘Trishul Diksha’ to over 300 Hindu youth in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

In the one-minute 55-second video, viral on social media sites, the outfit claims that those who take the Diksha take a vow to protect the country and Hinduism.

It also claimed that the program is run all over the country with the aim to make youth valorous and protect them from any vice.

However, this is not the first instance of this type. Earlier, various hate speeches were made by the various Hindu outfits, some of them calling for the ethnic cleansing of Muslims.

Last year, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, a massive rally consisting of nearly 10,000 members from the right-wing organization Hindu Jagarana Vedike was held in Udupi town, Karnataka.

Calls for a Hindu Rashtra were made and some workers were spotted carrying swords even as the state police walked alongside them. Udupi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Raghupathi Bhat was also spotted taking part in the rally.

Also in Haridwar Uttarakhand, Hindutva members took the stage to set a new benchmark for brazen hate speech in the country.
