Military operation against militants underway in Kupwara, says police
Kupwara: Police on Wednesday said that a military operation against militants is underway in Machil area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources said that a joint team of armed forces personnel Indian army and Jammu and Kashmir Police were on the site and further details will be shared accordingly
In a tweet, Kashmir Police Zone wrote, “Encounter going on near Pichnad Machil area of Kupwara district. Army and Kupwara police on job. Further details shall follow.”
