Militant associate arrested in north Kashmir, says police

Bandipora: Bandipora police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a militant associate linked with Lashkar-e-Toiba. The operation was conducted jointly by JK police, Indian army and CRPF.

In a tweet, the Bandipora police said that they along with 13 Rashtriya Rifles and 45Bn Central Reserve Police Force, arrested a militant associate of LeT outfit at Baharabad Hajin.

“02 Chinese hand grenades recovered. Case registered under Arms Act & UA(P) Act, ” reads the tweet.
