Palestine-Israel war: 232 killed, 1,697 wounded in Gaza

As Israel and Hamas soldiers continue fight, Palestinian Health Ministry reported that at least 232 people have been killed and 1,697 wounded in Gaza in Israeli attacks.

Armed Palestinian groups in the occupied West Bank have vowed to join Hamas soldiers in its ongoing fight against oppression.

Gunbattles continued well after nightfall Saturday, and Hamas soldiers held hostages in standoffs in two towns.

Hamas soldiers occupied a police station in a third town, where Israeli forces were deployed until Sunday morning to finally reclaim the building.

Before daybreak Sunday, Hamas soldiers  fired more rockets from Gaza, hitting a hospital in the Israeli coastal town of Ashkelon.

In Israel, the toll of injured has risen to 1,864, The Times of Israel reported citing the Health Ministry updates on the number of Israelis wounded and hospitalized.

Currently, 326 of them have been gravely injured, 359 have moderate injuries, and 19 are in critical condition.

Additionally, 20 people are being treated for severe stress and 821 people have minor injuries.

223 more persons are being watched over by medical personnel, The Times of Israel reported.
