Israel’s Iron dome missile malfunctions, takes U-turn
A video circulating on social media shows Iron Dome interceptor missile malfunctioning and taking a U-turn targeting a settler-populated area in the settlement of “Rishon LeZion” south of Tel Aviv.
The rocket took a U-tern and fell on Israeli territory as it seemingly malfunctioned, the viral shows.
AIronically, after bombing the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital earlier this month in Gaza, killing almost 500 civilians, Israel alleged that the massacre was a result of a misfired rocket by the Palestinian resistance: a ruthless narrative that was later debunked by the New York Times as being a lie.
Earlier today, Israeli Channel 13 reported that the Iron Dome is ineffective against the rockets of the Lebanese resistance because of the very short reaction time: such that the rockets are fired from south Lebanon at “Kiryat Shmona” which is a short distance away.
Furthermore, earlier this week the Israeli i24 correspondent reported that “Sderot” will no longer be protected Iron Dome system.
The correspondent who arrived in the occupation settlement less than a kilometer away from the Gaza Strip, said that the city is now a “ghost town” after occupation authorities evacuated its settlers.
She also reported that Israeli forces told i24’s crew that the city would no longer be covered by Iron Dome batteries in order to preserve interceptors for targeted areas
