Uri drowning: Second body recovered after 18 days, another still missing

Srinagar: Body of a second person was on Thursday recovered, eighteen days after a drowning incident was reported from Uri in Baramulla district.

An official told GNS that the body of one Bilal Ahmad Reshi, 24, son of Abdul Ahad Reshi of Arizal Budgam was recovered today during a joint rescue operation.

“The operation to locate the other missing person continues at the site,” the official said.

Pertinent to mention here that three persons on March 3, drowned during demolition work of a bridge at Gingal Uri.
