Military Op: Class work suspended in educational institutes across Sopore

Sopore: In response to the recent military operation against militants in north Kashmir’s Sopore town, authorities have taken the precautionary measure of suspending classwork in the area.

According to an administrative official, all government and private educational institutions, including colleges falling within Sopore tehsil’s jurisdiction, will remain closed today.

This decision comes in the aftermath of the military operation that erupted on Thursday evening at Nowpora in Sopore. This morning, officials informed that two unidentified militants were killed during the operation. One civilian and two armed forces personnel were injured as well, officials informed.
