Gulmarg fashion show not linked to Khelo India Winter Games: MLA Tangmarg
Baramulla: Tangmarg MLA Farooq Shah has strongly condemned a fashion show held in Gulmarg on March 6, organised by a private agency.
Clarifying that the event had no connection with the Khelo India Winter Games, Shah stated that the government has taken serious note of the matter and ordered an inquiry.
Emphasising the importance of respecting the beliefs and sentiments of all communities, Shah asserted that such events are unacceptable and should not be repeated in the future.
The incident has sparked discussions about cultural sensitivities in public events, with authorities now looking into the circumstances surrounding its organization. [KNT]
