Srinagar: The Cyber Police Kashmir has issued a strong advisory urging the public to refrain from uploading or sharing any content related to security deployments or ongoing operations on social media platforms. The warning comes amid growing concerns that such posts could compromise operational integrity and endanger public safety.

In a statement issued Wednesday, CPK emphasised that disseminating sensitive information about security arrangements can pose serious threats and will attract strict legal consequences under the relevant laws. The advisory serves as a reminder for citizens to act responsibly, especially in a region where security dynamics remain delicate.

“People are advised not to share or upload any content related to security deployments or operations on social media. Such actions pose serious risks and will invite strict legal action under relevant laws. Exercise responsibility, as such acts compromise public safety,” the statement read.

The Cyber Police further noted that they are closely monitoring digital platforms and will not hesitate to take action against individuals found violating the advisory.
