New Delhi: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Monday said that India could have avoided decades of unrest in Jammu & Kashmir if it had decisively acted against the Mujahideen who entered Kashmir in 1947.

“If in 1947 we had killed Mujahideens who entered Kashmir, we would not have faced such a situation now,” Modi was quoted as saying by PTI.
