Woman found dead in Jammu; probe underway
Jammu: An unidentified woman’s body was found on Wednesday morning in the Belicharana Tawi area of Jammu district, officials said.
According to sources, locals spotted the body of a woman, estimated to be around 23 years old, near the Tawi riverbank and immediately alerted the authorities.
A police team rushed to the spot and shifted the body to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. (GNS)
