22-year-old Pakistani national held near LoC in Rajour; questioning underway

Rajouri: Armed forces on Sunday apprehended a 22-year-old Pakistani national near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Manjakote area of Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.

The man has been identified as Mohammad Arib Ahmed, son of Mohammad Yousaf, hailing from Detote Kotali in Pakistan, Mint reported.

He was intercepted in a forward location of the BG sector and is currently being interrogated by security agencies, ETV Bharat reported.

During the search, armed forces personnel recovered a mobile phone, two lighters, and several receipts from his possession. It remains unclear whether the person crossed over inadvertently or if there was a deliberate intent behind the intrusion.
