LG Sinha assures Govt job to daughter of Rajouri ADDC Rajouri in Pakistan firing.

Rajouri: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday met the daughter of late Dr Raj Kumar Thapa, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) of Rajouri, who was killed in an unprovoked shelling by Pakistani forces.

During the meeting, LG Sinha handed over a formal assurance letter to Dr Thapa’s daughter, confirming that she will be appointed as an Assistant Law Officer in the government after completing her education.

“Today, I met the daughter of ADDC Rajouri, Dr Raj Kumar Thapa, who was martyred during unprovoked Pakistani shelling in Rajouri. I handed over the assurance letter to her that she will be appointed as an Assistant Law Officer after the completion of her studies,” LG Sinha said in a statement.

Dr Thapa’s death in the shelling was widely mourned across the Union Territory, with many recalling his dedication to public service and development in the border district of Rajouri.

The Lieutenant Governor also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the families of those who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty, saying the administration stands firmly with them during their time of grief and beyond.

Officials present during the interaction said the LG also inquired about her academic progress and offered best wishes for her future career in public service.
