Stunt biker from Baramulla held after video goes viral; two-wheeler seized
Baramulla: The police in Baramulla have detained a youth involved in a stunt biking incident that went viral on social media.
The accused, identified as Shahid Assad Dar, a resident of Puthar Kreeri, was seen performing dangerous stunts on a motorcycle in a video that surfaced online on Monday. Acting promptly, police traced and detained him within 24 hours.
He has been booked under Sections 184 and 207 of the Motor Vehicles Act, and the motorcycle used in the act has been seized.
The action was taken by Police Station Gulmarg under the supervision of SDPO Tangmarg and SHO PS Gulmarg, as part of the Jammu and Kashmir police’s ongoing campaign to enforce traffic rules and ensure road safety across the district.
