JK Govt approves ₹19.99 crore sewage treatment project for Ganderbal
Ganderbal: The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved the “Used Water Management Project”, which includes the construction of a ₹19.99 crore Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) in Ganderbal town, the Office of the Chief Minister announced on Thursday.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, the project aims to ensure proper treatment of used water, thereby helping to keep rivers clean and improve public health and sanitation across the region.
Officials said the initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to promote sustainable urban development and enhance living standards in Jammu and Kashmir.
