Over 1 kanal land belonging to Hizb militant seized in Doda, says SIA
Doda: The State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Thursday seized an immovable property of a Hizbul Mujahideen militant in Behota village of the Doda district.
In a statement by SIA, the spokesperson said that Zahid Hussain, son of Abdul Karim Wani of Doda’s Behota village, is wanted in case FIR 03/2022 of Police Station JIC Jammu.
The statement reads that the attachment was done after a court order, and the proceedings were undertaken in the presence of revenue authorities along with independent witnesses.
It reads that land measuring 1 Kanal and 16¼ Marlas was identified as the ancestral property share of the accused.
“A notice board declaring attachment under Section 83 Cr.PC was formally installed at the location. The entire process was duly photographed, recorded, and documented as per mandatory legal procedure,” it reads.
