Omar Abdullah unveils ₹1.13 lakh crore budget for Jammu and Kashmir
Rs 80640 crore revenue expenditure, Rs 33127 crore capital expenditure
Jammu: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday unveiled Rs 113767 crore budget for Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory.
Presenting the budget in the UT Assembly, as per the news agency, Kashmir News Observer, the CM said the total net budget estimates for the fiscal year 2026-27 are Rs 113767 crore, excluding the provision for ways and means advances and overdraft.
“The total net budget estimates for the fiscal 2026-27 are Rs 113767 crore excluding the provision for ways and means advances and overdraft,” the CM said.
Of which, Rs 80640 crore is revenue expenditure and Rs 33127 crore is capital expenditure.
“Rs 90018 crore and Rs 23749 crore as expected revenue receipt & capital receipt respectively under Budget Estimates 2026-27,” the CM announced.
He said his own revenues, both tax and non-tax, are estimated to be Rs 31800 crore.
“In addition to this, Rs 42752 crore is to flow as central assistance and Rs 13400 crore as CSS to Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
