Annual urs of Hazrat Syed Mohammad Qasim (RA) to be observed in Pulwama

Pulwama: The annual urs of Hazrat Syed Mohammad Qasim (RA) will be observed with religious fervour and devotion on August 20 at Rahmoo village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The preparations for the annual religious gathering are underway, with devotees expected to participate in various religious activities at the shrine.

In the intervening night of August 19 and 20, Shab Khwani will be observed at the shrine, where devotees will recite verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by Khatam-e-Sharief, Naat recitations and special supplications.

The Urs is expected to witness the participation of devotees from Rahmoo and adjoining areas, who will gather at the shrine to offer prayers and seek blessings.

Meanwhile, the Chairman, Rahmoo Public Interest (RPI) extended its warm greetings and best wishes to all devotees on the occasion of the Annual Urs of Hazrat Syed Mohammad Qasim (RA).

In its message, RPI Chairman, prayed for peace, prosperity and spiritual well-being for all and said that the teachings and message of Hazrat Syed Mohammad Qasim (RA) should continue to inspire people to follow the path of righteousness, compassion and harmony.

“May this auspicious occasion bring peace, prosperity and spiritual growth to all. May the teachings of Hazrat Syed Mohammad Qasim (RA) guide us on the path of righteousness, and may we all be blessed with peace and divine grace,” RPI Chairman said.

The annual urs will conclude with prayers for peace, prosperity and the well-being of the people.
