Three Palestinians killed in Israeli drone strike in Khan Younis
At least three people from the same family were killed in an Israeli drone strike north of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported.
The drone strike reportedly came amid continued Israeli military actions in Gaza, a month after a ceasefire. In recent days, Palestinian officials and medics have reported continued deaths from Israeli airstrikes and gunfire in various parts of Gaza.
Israeli officials have in the past said their operations in Gaza are aimed at thwarting attacks by Hamas and targeting what they referred to as military infrastructure.
Recent Israeli air strikes have killed Palestinians in Khan Younis and the rest of the territory. Israeli gunfire killed four Palestinians in Khan Younis and two children and two adults in other locations on Aug 24.
Israel confirmed that its forces attacked sites related to Hamas but made no comment on all of the reported deaths.
