Two killed, 24 injured in roadways bus-dumper crash in UP’s Bulandshahr

Two people, including a nine-year-old girl, were killed and 24 others injured when a roadway bus crashed into a dumper truck in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr early on Friday, the Tribune reported.

The crash took place around 4:30 a.m. near Shikarpur in the Khurja area when the bus, travelling from Delhi to Kanpur, rammed into the dumper moving ahead of it, Additional District Magistrate Abhishek Kumar Singh said.

The victims were identified as nine-year-old Radhika, who was declared dead on arrival at a hospital, and 32-year-old Babli, who died while receiving treatment, the official said.

District Magistrate Kumar Harsh and Senior Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh visited the accident site and later went to Kailash Hospital to assess the condition of those injured.

Officials directed authorities to ensure all those injured received proper medical care.
