Two injured by Israeli gunfire after settler clashes in West Bank village
Al Jazeera reported on Saturday that two people were injured by Israeli gunfire following clashes between settlers and an Israeli military raid in the village of Faqqu’a near Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
The injuries occurred in clashes between Israeli settlers and Palestinian residents and an Israeli military raid on the village, the Al Jazeera reported. It did not provide further details on the identities or conditions of the injured, at least not immediately.
The report comes amid ongoing Israeli military operations and settler violence in the West Bank, and sustained high tensions. Faqqu’a, northeast of Jenin, has seen clashes and previous Israeli military raids.
The West Bank has regularly seen Israeli military incursions, Palestinian attacks and violence by settlers.
