One killed, three injured in Russian strike on Synelnykove

One person was killed and three others were injured after a Russian strike on Synelnykove in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, regional authorities said in September.

Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration head Oleksandr Hanzha said a 15-year-old boy was among the injured and was in serious condition in hospital.

“Search and rescue operations are ongoing at the site of the strike,” Hanzha said, adding that emergency workers had contained a large fire that broke out following the attack.

The strike came as Russian attacks were also reported in the regional capital, Dnipro, where three people were killed and at least 12 injured after a strike hit a business centre, according to Hanzha.

Emergency services were continuing to assess damage and search affected areas in Synelnykove, officials said.

The Dnipropetrovsk region, which includes Dnipro and Synelnykove, has frequently come under Russian drone and missile attacks during the war. Russia has not immediately commented on the reported strike.
