Iran’s Foreign Minister has warned the US President against the renewal of military attacks. Abbas Araghchi said Iran came out on top after the last clash and was ready to meet any new aggression.

“Last time you wanted to ‘finish the job’, Iran emerged even stronger. Want to try your luck again? Be our guest. But be careful; we have unfinished jobs too,” Araghchi wrote on X on Sunday.

His remarks came after Trump threatened that Washington would “soon finish the job” against Iran unless Tehran changed its course. Trump also endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of Israel’s Oct. 27 parliamentary election, praising his leadership in confronting Iran, according to The Associated Press.

Araghchi accused Netanyahu of pushing the United States towards another war to avoid legal consequences in Israel.

“Netanyahu is risking another war for America just to stay out of jail at Israel’s expense and certainly not for POTUS,” he tweeted.

Netanyahu has also said Israel remains determined to bring down Iran’s government and is prepared to act independently if necessary, according to Iran International.

It comes as tensions continue to simmer between Washington and Tehran, despite ongoing diplomacy. Araghchi said Iran’s proposal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and resume talks with the US is still being considered.
