Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief, Muhammad Yasin Malik, on Friday addressed a huge gathering post congregational Friday prayers here in Chrar-i-Sharief.

In his address, Malik appealed youth of Kashmir to be disciplined and devoted towards the “resistance movement of Kashmir”.

While pointing towards the the present PDP-BJP coalition government in the state, he said, “it is this PDP which asked Kashmiris to vote, thus they turned in spreading the RSS ideology in the state. We have to counter such ideology, their administration has only given us bloodbath and daily funerals of our youth in every village and town.”

Malik said, “it is our responsibility to highlight the oppression, highhandedness of police and injustice that is being done to Kashmiris on daily basis.”

“Kashmir has been turned into a killing field where Indian forces are killing humans at will and no one among human community seems to bother or feel pain,” he said.

“Tyrants and their stooges should remember that according to the law of retribution they are bound to taste the fruits of their crimes against humanity. Peace and stability are subservient to the resolution of disputes and issue as peace cannot be established in vacuum,” he added.

“It is the ill policy of state and union governments who want to set a division and separation amongst the resistance leadership fro time to time,” he said.

“We won’t let this to happen us again; we are not divided at all… we are united to carry forward this mission and one day our mission will achieve the heights of success as our nation will be free,” he said.

He also expressed his deep concern towards the oppression on Palestinians who are being subjugated and oppressed by Israel.

While raising his concern towards local youth who are in prison, he asked the state authorities to release them before upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

He appealed the international bodies to intervene and resolve the Kashmir issue. “Stop the ongoing genocide in Kashmir; youth face torture everyday  here,” he said in his appeal.

“United Nations as a responsible forum has to rise above its lip servicing and play its role in resolving long pending disputes like Jammu Kashmir and Palestine,” he explained.

Highlighting the role of late Muhammad Maqbool Bhat, he said “we are greateful of Shaheed Maqbool sahab who has shown us the path of resilience, resistance and unity. He stood with Kashmiri masses till he sacrificed his life towards this sacred cause.”

“We are all united and this resistance will only stop once the oppression comes to its end and when there is complete dawn of freedom in our land,” he added.

Later, Malik visited home of Dr Hubbi, a Hurriyat Conference leader of Chrar-i-Sharief, where he had a brief conversation with him regarding the current situation of Kashmir.
