Day in and day out, we keep using phrases in our language which do convey the meaning to the listener but make very little sense in a literal aspect. The Urdu language used by Kashmiri people has the same story. From “Darwaza Do”, literally translating to “Give the door”, to much more, here is a list of 7 phrases used by Kashmiris in “Urdu”, which don’t actually make a whole lot sense when you think about them.
