Restrictions in parts of Srinagar, train services suspended

Authorities have decided to impose restrictions in most of Srinagar city after Joint Resistance Leadership gave a shutdown call against killing of a civilian in Shopian on Tuesday.

Restrictions have been imposed in areas falling under seven police stations of Rainawari, Khanyar, Nowhatta, M.R. Gunj,Safa Kadal, Kralkhud, and Maisuma as a precautionary measure, the official told Kashmir life.

The joint resistance leadership on Tuesday has called for a valley-wide shutdown on Wednesday against the ‘recent killings and search operations’ in South and north Kashmir,
