Asks people to boycott Iftaar parties, medical camps, and other sports activities organised by Indian forces

All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani has strongly condemned the continuous ‘sexual assault and molestation’ of innocent girls by the Indian armed forces.

Lamenting at state authorities, Geelani said people like Major Gogoi are involved in sexual exploitation of innocent girls. Referring to the recent incident in a Hotel in Srinagar, where Gogoi was denied entry into a hotel room because the girl was a minor girl, Geelani said that Indian forces are using rape and sexual exploitation as a war weapon.

In a statement, Syed Ali Geelani said that recent incident of molestation and murder of a minor girl in Kathua had shaken the conscience of the Kashmiri people, and now this incident in Srinagar affirms our claim that presence of Indian forces in civilian localities is source of extreme nuisance.

Demanding impartial probe by international agencies, Geelani said it is crime against humanity and, as such, Major Gogoi like criminals should be awarded a stringent punishment and reiterated his demand for exemplary punishment for those involved in Kunan Poshpora mass rape incident.

Syed Ali Geelani criticized the “puppet administration for its careless approach towards the incident”

Geelani asked people to boycott Iftaar parties, medical camps, Bharat Darshan and other sports activities organised by Indian forces, terming these activities as a part of cultural aggression and added that Indian authorities are hellbent to dilute our unique culture through these mischievous activities .
