The Jammu and Kashmir Police adopted an earlier strategy of arresting stone pelters by planting themselves in disguises among the protesters at Jamia Masjid after Friday prayers.
After the stone pelting on local police and CRPF personnel started, cops did not retaliate for awhile. After the crowd increased and two repetitive stone pelters lead them, a single tear gas shell was thrown to disperse them.
The two stone pelters were then grabbed by the covert policemen were taken into the police vehicles. The policemen held toy guns scare the rest of the crowd away.
