Patanjali Ayurved launched milk and frozen food products, including packed cow milk, peas, mixed vegetables and French fries. Cow milk has been priced two rupees less from its competitors. The company will also soon enter the apparel and footwear segment in the future.

In the first phase, Patanjali will launch cow milk and cow milk-based dairy products such as curd, chaach (buttermilk) and paneer in Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Haryana and Maharashtra, Baba Ramdev said at the launch event.

Packaged drinking water called ‘Divya Jal’ was also introduced and will launch natural mineral water and herb-infused water soon. To supply milk across Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Pune and Mumbai, the company has tied up with 56,000 retailers. Patanjali expects production of 10 lakh litres of milk in 2019-2020.

The list includes: Dairy products (Cow milk, curd, chach, paneer), cattle feed and feed supplements, frozen vegetables: peas, mix veg, sweet corn, potato finger, solar panels and water.

WhatsApp-rival Khimbo app will also be launched soon, Patanjali Ayurved Managing Director Acharya Balkrishna said.

Earlier, Ramdev’s spokesman SK Tijarawala said that the app will give ‘competition’ to WhatsApp, which has over 1 billion downloads on Google Play.

Khimbo is a Sanskrit word which is used to ask, “How are you? What’s new?.”

Just like WhatsApp, one can either send direct messages to the person or create new groups to send out messages. Apart from this, one can form broadcast lists, follow celebrities and also doodle using Kimbho app.
