Srinagar: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Chairman of the Hurriyat (M) on Wednesday visited Hiba, the 19-month old pellet victim at the SMHS hospital, who went through the second eye surgery.
Mirwaiz, in a tweet said that it was heart wrenching to see the baby girl in an anesthetized state.

In another tweet Mirwaiz said:All our prayers and best wishes with 19-month old baby Hiba and her anxious parents as she undergoes a second eye surgery today. Hiba is the youngest pellet victim in the current phase of violence in Kashmir, joining approximately 1,200 others hit in the eyes in the state since 2016.
Hiba was injured on November 25, after protests broke out at her village in Kapran, Shopian, following a gunfight during which six militants were killed by armed forces.
