Srinagar: After Fayyaz Chohan, a Minister in Pakistan’s Punjab was sacked by the Imran Khan government for his anti-Hindu remarks, National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah said that while India compares everything to Pakistan, this comparison should also be taken into consideration.
In a tweet, the former Chief Minister said:
In Pakistan a state minister is sacked for his remarks against Hindus. In India a state Governor isn’t even reprimanded for his public call to boycott & ostracise all Kashmiri muslims. We like to compare ourselves to Pakistan so compare this fact as well.

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti, in her reaction said on the contrary, in India Ministers who are communal and anti-Muslim are garlanded. His comments were repugnant. But at least he got sacked. Here ministers garland lynchers and the more anti – Muslim and communal you are the higher your rise will be in terms of status & power. https://t.co/ueac0ilvUw
