Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir police and Health & Medical Education Department have filed their respective reports before court in the alleged Sumbal rape case.
The reports pertain to the investigation part and giving of proper medical facilities to the victim child.
Amicus in the matter, Advocate Farah Bashir also submitted her report with regard to list of media reports who have revealed identity of the victim.
The State Counsel B A Dar submitted the report in sealed cover and made a submission that as the case is sensitive, it let be heard at Chief Justice residence.
The matter was heard through videoconferencing and after taking note of the submission of the State Counsel, the case was accordingly taken at Chief’s residence.
