Arshad Mir appointed Co-Chairman of HCSSC

Arshad Mir has been elected as the new Co-Chairman of Handicrafts and Carpet Sector Skill Council (HCSSC).

Mir, an alumni of the Kashmir University, is successful entrepreneur  who has been supporting people of Jammu and Kashmir by way of developing social business enterprise.

Mir has numerous acheivements and laurels to his credits despite being from the toughest terrian of India both from the logistic of view as well as the conditions. Along side being an active social worker, philanthropist and exporter, he has been the vice chairman of the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts and has also represented various boards and committees.

Mir is very passionate about working for the devlopment of artisans in Jammu and Kashmir. He intends to mainstream the artisans of Jammu and Kashmir facilitating them through skill development opportunities under skill India mission.
