A Turkish diplomat has been shot dead in the Iraqi Kurdish city of Irbil, after unidentified gunmen opened fire at a restaurant where Turkish diplomats were dinning.
Turkey’s state-run news agency says a Turkish diplomat working at Ankara’s consulate in the northern Iraqi city was killed.
No-one has yet claimed the attack.
