Srinaagr: Following the several complaints about illegal constructions in Srinagar, Crime Branch (CB) Kashmir has started Probe in this regard as the CB team conducted raids in Srinagar on Friday.
According to a statement, Crime Branch Kashmir received several complaints that illegal constructions especially shopping malls have cropped up in Srinagar city on a large scale.
The places across Srinagar where raids were conducted include Chanapora, Karanagar, Sanat Nagar, Zakura, Balhama and Pandach.
The statement added that involvement of top brass in Srinagar Municipality has not been ruled out, while as the involvement of middle rung municipality officers is also being investigated.
“Those found guilty will be dealt as per the law,” the statement read.
Further investigations in this regard have been taken up, the statement said.
