Srinagar: An armed forces personnel of 15 Garwal battalion was injured after suspected militants attacked an army party in Hygam area of North Kashmir’s Sopore.
Official sources said that suspected militants attacked an army vehicle from a orchard near Hygam.
In the incident, they said, one armed forces personnel of 15 Garwal was injured and subsequently evacuated to the army hospital, where his condition is said to he stable.
Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned-off and searches are going on to nab the attackers, as per the officials.
