Grenade attack in south Kashmir’s Pulwama, 2 civilians injured

Srinagar: Suspected militants on Wednesday evening lobbed a grenade on armed forces in Kakapora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that militants lobbed a grenade on joint team of Police and CRPF in Kakapora. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded on road.

In this incident, two civilians received splinter injuries who were subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Soon after the attack, the area was cordoned off and searches are going on.
