DDC Polls: Pulwama’s Shadimarg block records 143 votes till 11 am, lowest so far

Pulwama: Likewise the elections held on November 28, south Kashmir’s Pulwama has yet again recorded the lowest percentage of votes during the second phase of District Development Council polls, so far.

The district’s Shadimarg block has reported 143 votes out of 2,300 votes till 11: 00 am. The highest votes were witnessed in Chitripora and Drusu, as both the areas recorded 45 and 50 votes.

Bello reported 1, Gulshanabad 2, Rajpora 1 while as Hanjan Bala and Nikassarabal reported zero percentage so far.

The districts Tral area witnessed 1,800 votes out of 26,000 votes till 11 am. Earlier, till 9: am, Pulwama had reported 0.71% of votes among the other districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Pertinently, 43 constituencies are going under polling in the second phase of DDC elections including 25 constituencies in Kashmir division and 18 in Jammu.

Meanwhile, the internet services in Pulwama and Shopian have been snapped reportedly due to the election process.
