Srinagar: An active Western Disturbance is going to affect Jammu and Kashmir from 6 March onward.
Under its influence, light to moderate rain is possible in plains while moderate snowfall is expected in higher reaches on 07 March.
There are also chances of light snowfall in some plains (25%).
As per the weather departent, between 9 and 14 March, one or two more active Western Disturbances may affect JK.
